We are getting ready at the moment to release our new album "Seanchas". It has been over 5 years now since we recorded an album so it is quite exciting for the band. We will be self releasing this album and it will be available for purchase through our website and for download. We aim to have this available before the end of May. | MUIREANN AND BENNY VISIT BULGARIA WITH THE PRESIDENT OF IRELAND |
| Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh and Benny McCarthy were selected recently to perform in Bulgaria as part of Irelands Presidential State visit. Irelands President "Mary McAleese" visited the capitol city of Sofia recently along with several of Irelands diplomats. They are always accompanied by a group of musicians and dancers which is collectively called "Duchas" meaning Heritage in the Irish Language. This year the groups musicians were Muireann, Benny, Liam Flanagan, Grainne Hambly and dancers Eileen Martin and Anthony Sharkey. They can be seen in the photo alongside President McAleese, Dr Martin McAleese, Bulgarians Presidant Parvanov and his wife.
